Project Details

The USF Health Pharmacy Plus was designed to be a national prototype for pharmacy education and care and features glossy white finishes, curvilinear forms and green LED lighting. The “pharmacy of the future” uses an Rx Medic Robot to dispense medications and an integrated medical records system that connects pharmacists to other health care providers to expedite patient care. The 1,150 square-foot space also includes a personalized medicine room, a patient education room and a cafe counter that serves beverages and healthy snacks. Private health kiosk computer stations and tablets with a range of medical software applications are also provided. The pharmacy is located on the first floor of the Morsani Center for Advanced Healthcare in the heart of USF Health.
